Surrounded by its picturesque landscape the farm offers a peaceful setting to its residents, four legged and two! Our goal is to breed a small number of top quality foals every year. CCF Adel Aidan

This past summer we sold CCF Adel Aidan (affectionately known by only me as "Smaidy") to a talented young rider. I was more than pleased with the fit and felt that Smaidy may have found his lifelong partner. The past several months we have been receiving updates on Smaidy's progress. Emily has started him herself and even brought him to his first show. This picture just warmed my heart. As breeders it is never easy to sell our “babies” but this picture just proves to me this was the RIGHT fit and I look forward to hearing more news from this amazing pair in the future. Go get ‘em Smaidy!

Avelina is North America's 2010 KWPN-NA Reserve Grand Champion Dressage mare!

Avelina Ster!!

Avelina recieved her ster predicate at the Iron Springs Farm Keuring! The judges awarded her three 80's for trot, canter and self carriage; these scores placed her second among a large group of very nice mares. We are looking forward to her 2011 Rousseau foal. Pictures to follow.

Summer 2010 NEWS

CCF Adel Aiden has been sold to Emily Benner of Vermont. Be looking for this pair in not only the dressage arena but also on the Hunter/Jumper Circuit. We couldn't have asked for a better home for this special guy!

Emma Belle ENF has been sold to Elisha Massong of Ontario Canada. Elisha reported that Emma made it accrossed the boarder safely and has settled into her new home. Be looking for Emma on the line this summer. We are thirlled our little girl went to such a wonderful owner with a great group of supportive "horsey" friends!

We have added a new mare to our breeding program. Introducing Avelina: 2005 Dutch Warmblood (Olivi x Lancet x Doruto)

Avelina was bred by Jennifer and Jason Miller of Century Ranch in Canada. A huge thank you to Jennifer and Jason for being the wonderful people they are and helping to make this happen for us. What a special opportunity for us to add a mare of this quality to our program. Avelina will be bred to Rousseau for a 2011 foal. KWPN-NA Top Five

Elita ENF (Rousseau x Jazz x Lancet) was named the #5 dressage foal in North America. We are thrilled to say the least!

"First place was the bay filly Elita ENF (Rousseau out of Zsa Zsa ster by Jazz x Lancet) bred
and owned by Jessica Eagles. Elegant, leggy, uphill, with a beautiful top-line and neck she
moved with good trot technique and showed an easy, correct canter. With 7.8 for conformation
and a 7.8 for movement this youngster took the Best Young Horse-Dressage award - and - fifth
place in the Top Fives."

Keuring News!

Team Eagles Nest returned from our first keuring with homebred foals and could not be more pleased with our girls.
